Tatyana builds her creative method through work with the unconscious, forming her own language of symbols. These symbols undergo a chain of transformations in order to explain internal psychological processes in the manifested world. The heroes of Tatyana's paintings are often impersonal, being more metaphorical images than real people. They are equally focused on their internal states and are themselves physical embodiments of these sensations, states and reflections.
Tatyana Vafina has poetically mysterious works, each of which is both a separate reflection and a detail in a large puzzle of the world created by the artist. In it, the animate is reflected in the inanimate, the image of a person becomes an abstract metaphor, and the idea turns into a physical object not only within the canvas or video, but also further, finding its continuation in installations and ceramics, where each object is a part of a separate infinite world that everyone can find within themselves.
